The robust amplified sound of the SR506E is delivered by two Bartolini BH2 soapbar pickups, which come mounted along with 3-band EQ controls, an EQ bypass switch, a 3-way mid frequency switch (250 Hz / 450 Hz / 700 Hz), and of course a set of standard volume and tone knobs, giving players ample ways to explore everything this tonally versatile, extended range bass is capable of.
